I want to give a special ‘SHOUT OUT’ to a (like the young folks say...) ‘A REAL ONE’...we grew up together. I was a teenager when I had the honor of meeting this new soul. He is so full of passion, heart, focus, a love for mankind that I’ve never seen in another. A true bonafide love for humanity! He’s nerdy, with the heart of an innocent child and a lion, he fights for everyone to have a place in society, he wears his emotions on his sleeve, which makes him vulnerable and transparent in a world that acts as if caring and being open are qualities to avoid. I’ve never experienced another human who genuinely cares for others the way he has ever since he was a little boy. (People have worn me down through the years, so I am so over humans) but this man tries harder than anyone I’ve ever met. He makes me want to try harder too. He deals with things that would make many crumble and crawl back into bed, but yet he crawls towards progress and a better world for all. In the midst of his struggles he still finds a little strength to put his best foot forward. I want to protect him most of the time but he teaches me the importance of adversity and rising from the ashes. Although the odds have always been against him, I would bet on him EVERYDAY! Yes, to work with him and to be apart of his circle is different and lots of work, but I have learned so much about life being apart of his life. The importance of relationships, patience, faith, hope, and what it means to love unconditionally. He’s been an inspiration to many but is still hoping and striving for that support system to help him get to the next level. He pushes me, challenges me, encourages me in times when I don’t see how we can make it another day! He’s an honorable man, his integrity can match the greatest, he speaks his own mind, always eager to learn, and hates wasting a minute of the day. He lives life to its fullest! I’ve watched him grow into a man that I am proud to know mainly because he’s authentic, he doesn’t try to be anyone else, he’s not ashamed of who he is, and he strives to be his best self even on his worse day. I’m so glad to be apart of your world. I love you son 🖤
