Whether you are new to succulents or an expert in the field, our design workshops will challenge you to look at succulents in a whole new light. You will have the opportunity to design your own succulent creation and learn how to care for it, as well as to ask Laura individual questions that you may have. Our line of Succulent-Topped products are always updated to include brand new styles as well

as maintaining some of the key traditional accents that are tried and true. If you are interested in learning more about our products and services, our webpage has photos and detailed descriptions of everything currently available, as well as other useful information on gardening in general. Gardening is an opportunity to get in touch with nature, with yourself, and a time to get creative and have fun.

Oh what fun we had in Los Angeles! It’s so special when a client has full trust in me and my whacky design techniques. This week was a blast! The team and I were able to knock out a maintenance on an existing area in the garden, design a bed in the front yard, and blow out a bunch of pots all around the property! The team took a field trip down the street to Richards house in Santee this morning. I picked up some donuts and Richard provided the coffee while we all admired the small succulent garden he put in. (slide 6) He has done a phenomenal job keeping up with his garden and I’m beyond pleased with how everything is looking. I also went ahead and reset an aloe ferox because I just couldn’t help myself. We also picked up some new shirts and hats for the crew. We are all loving the black, what do you think?

Feeling good on the end of day two in Santee!
Greg and some of the crew came last week to prep the irrigation by extending the hard line. Yesterday was ground breaking and I was shocked at how many plants the guys were able to get in. Today we continued to stage and plant our foundation specimens and Bart from KRC rock came and craned the only boulders we are using this project into place. Yup, no boulders! Stay tuned for more progress.

It’s been hot and humid the past two days here in Encinitas. We are working on a 4 day backyard renovation. Day 1 we managed to move all of the soil and boulders to the back. Hannah, Ralph and I came an hour early today (day 2). I had Ralph start bringing back all of my large 15g+ specimens while Hannah started staging the boulders before heading to oasis for tapestry plants. My amazing crew worked through the swampy weather today and I’m super happy with the progress we made. Thanks to my amazing vendors!
