I want to say thank you to all my staff for helping build our small family Roofing Compny to what it is. It means the world to us. You are a key part of who we are and the services we provide to our customers. Without your continuous support and hard work, we would not be here. There is just 4 of us in total and with Gods Grace we will grow. But not to big. Because we like having a small humble business. Where we can do right by our customers and our employees.

With that being said. We had a great time at this year’s Christmas 🎄 luncheon. Without my team we wouldn’t be RSJ Roofing,Inc.

Today is a very hard day for me. It is the 23rd anniversary of 9/11 and it also my Dads birthday. If he was still with us. He would of been 93yrs old. My Dad was an amazing man who served in the Vietnam war and was a wounded vet who also had PTSD.

Due to his PTSD he self medicated with alcohol and all the drinking eventually took his life. Mental health is a real struggle and battle. My Dad gave his life for our country in service and in war so that we could be safe.

Then on 9/11 all the lives that where sacrificed so we could feel safe was taken from us. We where attacked on our own soil, and we lost many many more lives on this horrible day back in 2001. I will never forget where I was and when I saw the plans crash into the twin towers and then the pentagon.

Now here we are again remembering this horrible act of terrorism. With all the while we have in our own county acts of domestic terrorism amongst ourselves. How stupid is that?

We should always be a nation that stand together. Who supports one another. Who lift up each other. But we are not! And it is heart breaking and sad to see this. Knowing that so many good people who served and or serving this great nation have sacrificed there lives to serve and protect us all.

I pray that we can all look back and reflect on our lives and count our blessings instead of counting our losses. Remembering there are people in this world who dont even have a fraction of what we all have regardless of your financial status or your party. We are all American made up of a giant melting pot of many different people. that's what makes us unique and special.

Let's not forget those who lost there lives due to war and hate. Let's spread love and kindness. Let's be united as one nation. Not divided.
