There are so many ways you can support our communities impacted by the fires right now. Today we gathered a few friends and visited in Pasadena. We all bought a bunch of books because we all have a low key book hoarding problem. But also an opportunity to support a local business - the owner Tom Rogers (who lost his house to the Eaton fire) and the staff who were impacted.

While everyone is waiting to see how governmental agencies will organize a recovery plan, it’s so encouraging to see so many people organizing themselves to support one another.

On a personal note: I finally spent some time outside today after several weeks of only stepping out for the absolutely essential stuff. Had a cold that didn’t get better / relapsed for 3 weeks and developing walking pneumonia. On the mend, hopefully able to be out more and figure out different ways we can show up for our people.
