Pigs broke out! First time in over a year! FTR the pen behind this turd is no longer in use. We put our piglets in there when we first started and have since built a very large pen in the woods so they could forage. Apparently, Curly wasn't impressed with his forage selection and broke out! I guess he wanted to check out his old digs to see if it was back on the market.

Honeybee Botanee’s pigs are pasture raised and fed locally sourced grain, produce, and Vermont’s own Cabot Cottage Cheese! These cuts come from Heritage Berkshire/ Gloucestershire pigs. Heritage pork is known for it’s fine grained, lean texture and marbled fat content. It’s also known for it’s high levels of Vitamins A & D!

Morning Glories!! We have Grandpa Ott's, Split Seconds, Heavenly Blues, Candy Pinks and a few other varieties!!. Morning Glories are tropical perennials and will flower all year long in climate zones 7 and higher. These beautiful plants will climb from 6 ft (heavenly blues) to 15 ft (Grandpa Ott's) covering trellises and overflowing flower boxes with lush green foliage and large, brightly colored flowers. These plants do very well in planters and can be brought inside to enjoy all year long!! Did I mention they smell fantastic?? These babies are going in our Mother's Day planters, but Honeybee_botanee will have hundreds of Morning Glory starters for your trellises, decks, flower boxes and inside gardens beginning in April !!.

Meet Tammy, our new Tamsworth! This pretty girl is going to be the first gilt we try to breed. She is just four months so, with any luck, we could have our first litter at the end of summer. We were going to wait to farrow pigs until next year... but she is just too pretty! The boar we have in mind is also a bacon breed so it will make for a tasty union ❤️❤️❤️.

It's officially February!! Every year before we start our night shade plants and alliums we re-home our house plants. These Diplodenias were gifted to me by my sister when we moved up to Lowell. If you are looking for a wonderful houseplant that you can't kill... This is it! Heat tolerant, drought resistant... Forget about this plant for a month and it's still green and thriving!! It also flowers these beautiful trumpet-looking red flowers. Gorgeous!

Tis’ the season folks... cleaning up the garden is always a little sad. Your herbs are still rockin’ and you wish you could save them all, but winter is coming. This year I decided to pull my favorite Rosemary and Lavender plants up and transplant them into pots for the winter. The lavender did SO well... why not clone her a few times? She might not take to her pot but 🤞! If any of you green thumbs are looking to get your hands dirty Home Depot and Lowe’s are having their clearance sale on all their perennials! Azaleas don’t mind big pots... let’s bring our gardens inside this winter. 💕 🌿 🌸
