Saying goodbye this week to a very special project.

Three weeks after welcoming our third baby, we’re handing over the keys to what honestly feels like our fourth.

No house is ever truly perfect, over 100 people touched this one. Thousands of hours. So many hands, decisions, and conversations.

All human.

And in a world leaning more and more into AI (which I’m grateful for too), tonight I’m just especially grateful for the people who still make things by hand—layered, thoughtful, and beautiful because of it. 🤍more soon

There’s a phase in every build where the rough meets the pretty. It happens slowly, and most of it never gets documented all the clean ups between trades, the phone calls with reps, the deliveries and delays, the plans explained and checked again. The permanent electrical line connected so HVAC can also be connected for floors to be delivered and acclimated. It’s the in between. The part no one really sees but where everything starts to take shape. It’s where the magic is actually made.
