Are you trying to build a CNC business… or just hoping it works out?

Because those are two very different levels of thinking that will make or break your success!

For me, the real shift to success in IDC Woodcraft didn’t come from the machine. It came from mindset.

Even though my business is a little different from creating and selling projects, the foundation of business success is the same for all businesses, including what you want to build.

And we must build those foundations in how we think first, before success comes.

I’ve seen success in the millions, but I had built my foundations before that success came.

One of those foundation builders is by reading business books. The right books expand your mind and help you see yourself in whole new ways.

Of the many books out there, there are 7 that had the most influence on me, and I want to share them with you.

I just dropped a video that tells you what those books are and why you should read them if you want to get into CNC business.

These 7 books helped shape how I think, make decisions, and grow. And they will help you too.

Do you have a Makita trim router on your CNC?

If you do, you definitely need to watch this video.

Machines like the LongMill, Shapeoko, Millwright, Onefinity, and X-Carve often use the Makita RT0701C Compact Router because they are affordable and easy to integrate into the CNC design.

But there’s something you need to know about these units. These trim routers are not built for the extensive run times projects often require.

Because of that, they can suddenly (and often do) burn out right in the middle of your carve, potentially ruining your project.

Sometimes they run like a champ for years. Other times, they burn out in a few months.

But it is preventable with a simple, and very low cost, preventive maintenance step.

I made a 6-minute video explaining one of the causes of the burnout, and the simple step to keep it from happening.

If you have a Makita on your CNC, definitely watch this video!
