🚨LONG POST🚨This week, I got called out to an overgrown yard that hadn’t been touched in a long while. When I arrived, I met a sweet elderly woman who told me it’s just her now, and she just couldn’t keep up with it anymore. It was almost knee high in some places and weeds were everywhere up front. But her backyard was this amazing garden filled with all types of vegetables and peppers. I spent a few hours mowing, trimming, edging, and cleaning up the yard. By the time I was done, you could see her porch again and the walkway was clear..She came out with tears in her eyes and two big paper bags filled with assorted vegetables from her garden. Truth is, I was just doing my job, but moments like this remind me why I love what I do!! It’s more than cutting grass..it’s helping people feel proud of their space again! 📣If you or someone you know needs help with their yard—especially our elders—reach out.
