Wrapped up a multi-day repair today! We fixed a hidden underground leak under the slab portion of a client's home—the old copper line was so corroded it was paper-thin. But we got it fully replaced, and another happy homeowner is back up and running!

We will be closed on Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend! Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th.

Hanging pictures or decor throughout your home can go wrong quickly if you run into what one of today's customers unfortunately dealt with.
Most times, it takes months or years for a screw to rust away inside the pipe and produce a noticeable issue. But when a fastener catches a heavy-use waste stack or vent pipe just right, it causes an immediate leak every time water runs from upstairs—or lets sewer gas seep right into the home.
Puncturing an active drain line leaks wastewater whenever a sink runs or a toilet flushes above. Catching a dry vent stack won't drip liquid right away, but it opens a path for sewer gas and rainwater to trickle inside the wall cavity.
While the screw often acts like a temporary plug at first, moisture slowly corrodes the metal until it gives out completely and leaves an open hole. Before hanging heavy decor, or pictures trace above and below for cleanouts or roof vents, and use a stud finder to help try to keep your walls and plumbing safe.
Issues like this can occur to anyone, and if something like this happens to you we're just a phone call away!

Do you travel for work, take frequent vacations, or just want extra peace of mind when leaving the house?
A device like the Moen Flo Smart Water Shutoff is one of the best upgrades you can make to your home’s plumbing system.
Why install a smart water shutoff?
Instant Detection: Continuously monitors water usage and detects minor leaks before they turn into major disasters.
Automatic Protection: Shuts off your main water supply automatically if a line breaks while you're away.
Insurance Savings: Many homeowners insurance providers offer policy discounts for approved leak-detection systems.
Cost vs. Value: A small investment now can save you tens of thousands of dollars in water damage later.
A smart shutoff only works if it’s sized, located, and configured correctly for your home’s specific layout.
Don't just hope nothing happens while you're away—give your home a way to protect itself.
Serving Lake & Ashtabula Counties

If you have a medicine cabinet or shelving mounted above your toilet, you've probably had a close call dropping something while reaching for a prescription or item. We see these sorts of things all to often.
When hard objects like bottles, razors, or cosmetics accidentally get flushed or wedged in the trapway, they can cause serious blockages that require professional tools to clear out.
Our favorite free fix? Simply preventative...keep the toilet lid down when it’s not in use. It creates a simple barrier that keeps your belongings—and your plumbing—safe!
We always aim to help out our customers and our community even if this means preventing a phone call from ever needing to take place!

Shoutout to our dedicated homeowner who took on the heavy lifting and excavated their own yard to reroute and replace a failing septic line. We were more than happy to come in and complete the final tie-in and make sure everything was set up properly and good to go!
Everything is now back to flowing smooth and clear!

We had to shuffle today’s schedule to respond to a major emergency call—a customer's basement was flooded under several feet of sewage water.
Before we could even get down there to snake the drain, we had to pump the water out to a safe working level. Once clear, we snaked the line, and got everything flowing smoothly again.
Dealing with a backup is every homeowner’s worst nightmare, but seeing the immense relief and gratitude on our customer's face when the job was done is exactly why we do what we do.
Got a plumbing emergency or maintenance need? Give us a call—we’ve got your back!
