(CHIMNEY RE FLASH AND REPOINT) COST: $500

This homeowner had been dealing with this leak around the chiminey for 3 years. First we stripped out the old lead . Then we ran ice and water Shield underneath for added protection. Last we installed new 12" lead flashing and repointed any damaged
areas.

This repair came with a two year workmanship warranty.

Here are some reasons to get a roof inspection done before winter!

1) Bad weather can and will make any prior damage worse. Ice build up can cause moisture and can compromise home's interior and its overall structure.

2) If you think you can wait till spring just know that minor problems become bigger and more costly if you wait the winter out. A $500 repair now for a leaking chiminey, could turn into a whole section needing to be replaced. Water will travel down into the interior as well as damaging the current plywood over time.

3) Mold caused by water and humidity causes unhealthy air conditions. Possibly leading to health problems down the road for you're family.

4) Winter is coming and some repairs can't or shouldn't be performed during below freezing temps. Snow makes it harder for our technicians to safely perform some repairs .

** As always our inspection includes a full print out report with photos, explaining the roofs current condition, photos of the work done and prior references of recent customers who have used our service.

Please note anyone who has a leak but is waiting till spring to replace the entire roof. If you hire us to handle the replacement we will come and fix/patch the current problem untill spring.
