This is what a native landscape can look like after just a couple seasons - all of these started out as very small plugs, and now the entire bed is blooming and buzzing with pollinators! We carefully selected these varieties to tolerate our intense climate and provide important habitat for wildlife in an urban area.

Thank you Jillian Singleterry for continuously sharing your landscape updates - we absolutely love hearing that you have random people stopping to take photos and enjoy the beauty!

Fun little project in Bixby! Our client had a specific vision of incorporating Baptisia into the landscape - so we collaborated and came up with this cute combo of Decadence Vanilla Cream Baptisia, Little Bluestem and Burgundy Verbena. This is an excellent example of how to mix and match natives/non-natives in a more formal but sustainable fashion.

We finished the flagstone pathway today! Now if the soil could dry up a little we’d much appreciate it 😝

Not only do we specialize in native and sustainable landscaping, we also do all kinds of hardscaping! Here’s a clip of our flagstone pathway construction. We started with a compacted gravel base, permeable landscape fabric that allows drainage, and then paver sand. Then we will fill the cracks with decomposed granite. Such a fun jigsaw puzzle!

We love getting updates from our clients! This one was planted May 2025. 🌸🌿🐝🦋

Another update from one of our clients - heavy sun exposure on a corner lot, full of locally grown native plants. These all started out in very small pots in November 2024, and now they’re all filling in providing excellent pollinator habitat!

Plant list:
Chilopsis linearis (Desert Willow)
Yucca filamentosa (Adam’s Needle)
Schizachyrium scoparium (Little Bluestem)
Bouteloua curtipendula (Sideoats Grama)
Eryngium yuccifolium (Rattlesnake Master)
Opuntia engelmannii (Texas Prickly Pear)
Echinacea purpurea (Purple Coneflower)
Coreopsis lanceolata (Lanceleaf Coreopsis)
Callirhoe involucrata (Purple Poppy Mallow)
Oenothera macrocarpa (Missouri Evening Primrose)
Oeonothera speciosa (Pink Evening Primrose)

And several more than have been added since then! — in Tulsa.

We love getting seasonal updates from our clients! This is a perfect example of how a native landscape can provide interest year-round, even covered in a blanket of snow!

Thank you for the photos. We enjoyed hearing your updates on the landscape, and seeing how many birds, pollinators and small mammals have taken refuge in your yard! ☃️🦉🐦‍⬛🦇🦋🐞🐌🐿️
