Restoring some neglected teak furniture this week.

The previous finish was a film-forming coating, so we first had to chemically strip it before neutralizing and brightening the wood. After a light sanding, we’ll finish everything with a penetrating teak oil.

Unlike film-forming coatings that eventually peel and require extensive stripping, teak oil penetrates into the wood instead of sitting on top. That means future maintenance is simple—just clean the surface and reapply as needed.

It’s a little more work upfront, but it’ll make maintaining this furniture much easier for years to come.

High-end results start long before the paint goes on.

This 4,500 sq. ft. home required extensive drywall repairs from years of settling, including failing tape joints and major cracks throughout. Every repair was completed before painting to create smooth, seamless walls and ceilings that will look great for years to come.

Deck staining done the right way!

Spray. Back-brush. Sand. Final spray.

Back-brushing helps fill all the small cracks and seams. After a light sanding to smooth everything out, we’ll finish it with one last spray coat for a flawless, factory-like finish. 🤩

This ceiling ain’t no joke! Rolled Cover Stain on it today and it was a work out! 😩😴

Now the hard part is done and tomorrow the ceiling paint will go on like butter. Looking forward to tackling these walls. Later in the week. We’ve got 5 colors going throughout the house, will be a great transformation for these new home owners!
