Check Out This 24 Hour Transformation! 💪☀️

When we arrived, we found some unexpected guests—a few shingles resting on the bottom and a thick layer of algae on top. But within 24 hours, it was sparkling clear and swim-ready. Here’s how we made it happen: 👇

✅ Step 1: Removal & Cleanup
We cleared debris from the bottom: shingles, grass, sticks and leaves. Making sure nothing was left behind to clog the system.

✅ Step 2: Balance & Shock Treatment
We tested and balanced the water chemistry (pH, alkalinity, and stabilizer), then added a high-dose chlorine shock to neutralize algae and bacteria.

✅ Step 3: Filter Power
We ran the filtration system non-stop, cleaned the cartridge filter multiple times, and added a clarifier to help the filter catch the tiny particles.

✅ Step 4: Brushing & Circulation
The entire pool was brushed to loosen algae from the walls and floor. Circulation is key—so we made sure water was flowing in all the right places.

When’s the last time you checked your pool filter pressure? 🤔

Whether you’ve got a Sand, Cartridge, or DE (diatomaceous earth) filter, keeping an eye on the pressure gauge is essential to keeping your pool crystal clear and your equipment running smoothly.

📈 Why Filter Pressure Matters:
If your pressure is too high, it means your filter is clogged and struggling to push water through—this puts stress on your pump and can lead to costly damage.

🔍 Here’s what to know about each type:
➡️ Sand Filters – These need backwashing when pressure rises 8–10 PSI above the normal reading. Sand filters are tough, but they still need care!
➡️ Cartridge Filters – Clean them when pressure increases 8–10 PSI. Over time, they wear out and should be replaced every 1–2 years depending on use.
➡️ DE Filters – The most precise filtration, but also the highest maintenance. They need to be backwashed and recharged with DE powder when pressure gets too high. Full cleanings are recommended a few times per season.
