Really fun project.

My client recently put an addition on their century-old home and asked me if I could replicate the original shutters which featured a lovely moon cutout.

After grabbing a sample, I fabricated the two new shutters but wanted to make sure they fit the vintage of the home.

After assembly, I ​"aged" them so that they had the look of multiple (and chipped) coats of old paint along with some weathering.

For someone like me who has such an appreciation for the craftsmanship of old, this was such a satisfying experience.
