It's flue season! Time to check your water heater and furnace flue vent pipes. A blocked or broken flue can leak deadly carbon monoxide gas into your home.

Tips for doing this on your own:

How to safely check your vent pipe:
Look for rust and holes: Check for heavy rust, corrosion, cracks, or loose pipe joints.

Check the slope: Horizontal pipe sections must slope upward toward the vent exit. Look for at least 1/4 inch of rise for every foot of pipe. It should never dip or sag downward.

Inspect chimney connections: If the pipe goes into an old chimney, check that the mortar and bricks are solid and not crumbling.

Check for clearance: Keep boxes, clothes, and trash far away from the hot vent pipe.If you see rust, gaps, or sagging pipes, call us right away to fix it and keep your family safe.

We got this kitchen remodel underway! Once new cabinets and countertops go in, this kitchen will look brand new!
We had to remove a wall, redo a lot of wiring, add new lighting, patch drywall, remove four layers of flooring, and then put down some luxury vinyl tile! All inside of 43 hours!
