When you kick off the day coordinating silt fence, concrete inspections, and jobsite details… and then pivot straight to Chicago — honored to do it all! 🏡✈️

Sharing a little inspiration from today because these Southern Living Builder Network events are always so energizing. Our builder reps have been incredibly helpful coordinating product packages and resources for both my current and future clients, and getting to see what’s coming next firsthand is such a treat.

And here this evening at the Chicago Mart — unbelievable! So much inspiration under one roof and so many beautiful new products to take in. 🫣✨ Just wait until you see some of the goodness below, including a few brand-new launches. Obsessed might be an understatement!

Tomorrow is another action-packed day before heading home Thursday, and I’m soaking in every minute of it. Surprisingly, this is my very first real trip to Chicago — plenty of layovers over the years, but never a chance to actually experience the city!

Feeling inspired, grateful, and already thinking about which of these beautiful new finds will make their way into a South Run Designs home. 🤍

We are absolutely thrilled for our clients who closed today on 10 beautiful wooded acres in Chimney Oaks! 🌳🏡

They’ll be building a customized version of our Middleburg plan, and we cannot wait to watch this one come to life. One of the details I’m already excited about? A gorgeous arched mahogany front door that is going to give this home so much character from the very first glance. 🤎

Permitting is already underway, and we’re looking forward to breaking ground in September!

One of my favorite parts of custom building is taking a South Run Designs plan and watching each family make it completely their own. This Middleburg is going to be a special one!

We are having so much fun with our Delta plan, and this setting is exactly what makes building in the Virginia countryside so special.

The softness of the brick, the flagstone porch, the warm natural finishes… it all feels timeless, relaxed and perfectly at home on the land.

But truly — can you imagine sitting on that porch first thing in the morning with your coffee while these little cuties wander over and gaze back at you? ☕️🐄

That’s the dream.
