A pool starts taking shape long before the shell goes in the ground.
We lay out the pool with you in our Design Center first, working through its size, shape and placement on your property. Then, before dig day, we verify the pool location onsite so everyone can see exactly where it will sit in the yard.
Next comes excavation and setting the fiberglass shell. Even after there is water in the pool, there's still work to do around it. Decking, grading, drainage and restoration are all part of turning a construction site back into a backyard.
And, as with any major construction project, weather matters. The amount of rain we've had over the past several weeks has left many job sites extremely wet. Saturated ground can affect excavation, equipment access, grading and other phases of construction, and sometimes we simply need the ground to dry before work can safely move forward.
This is why we encourage people to start planning early. There are a lot of steps between choosing a pool and having a finished space to enjoy.
