We believe a Baltimore checkerspot? This is a new sighting for me. Found it relaxing on a water iris today!

Raised beds weeded today and looking good! I added (4) small raised beds this season and (2) larger raised beds to house some flowers that can withstand drought and high temperatures and lots of sun. So far everything in them is looking amazing!

The stand is tucked away again for the night due to expected high winds, but will be back out tomorrow!

Thank you Henningson Farms, for the beautiful flowers I picked up tonight for a birthday gift! They are perfect and smelled amazing!

And a little bit about me….I absolutely love sending greeting cards! So these cute flower cards in the Henningson’s flower shed were an added bonus! I send anywhere from 0-12 or so cards a month depending on the month! Thanks again!

Tuesday, June 9th! Was able to harvest a couple bunches of flowers before the rain hit. Check out that Japanese Dinnerplate water iris! It’s the first year it’s flowered. Super strong petals for an iris variety! Stay dry today!

Sunday, June 7th! Was able to fresh pick a couple more bunches this morning. What a beautiful day to be outside!

Sold out - thank you!!!
Saturday, June 6th: A couple bunches available for first come, first serve pick up this morning. Such a welcomed sight to see these lilies opened this morning!

Also, just a reminder most flowers, especially lilies, are poisonous to cats & dogs. When in doubt, just set them up where an animal can’t reach them. 🐈 šŸ•

There is a perennial plant on the ground next to the stand. Free. I will remove the post when I see it’s gone. I believe it is a Veronica or something in the salvia family. For some reason, our furry friends have taken a liking to it. Which is surprising because I have several other plants from the salvia family they’ve left alone, and I won’t spray the plants. I’ll either cage or rehome. I even thought having it next to an English sage they’d leave it but nope!

Today, I caged a yellow native coneflower as they also ate that and that’s a plant I’d love to see used as filler in arrangements!

Stay cool and in the shade as it’s a HOT one today!
