🥵 Hot outside. Sticky inside? Your A/C may be trying to tell you something.

Your air conditioner doesn’t just cool your home — it also helps remove moisture from the air.

When Ohio heat and humidity climb, your system has to work harder to keep your home comfortable. If the temperature feels okay but the air inside still feels muggy, sticky or damp, your A/C may not be removing humidity the way it should.

A few things that can contribute:

🔥 Ask the Expert: Should My A/C Run All Day When It’s Really Hot Outside?

When the heat and humidity settle in, you may notice your A/C running a lot longer than usual. In many cases, that’s completely normal.

On especially hot days, your system has to work harder to remove heat from your home and maintain the temperature you’ve set. Longer cooling cycles can actually help your system maintain a more consistent temperature and remove humidity from the air.

So when should you be concerned? 👀

Give us a call if you notice:
❄️ Your home keeps getting warmer even though the A/C is running
❄️ The air coming from your vents doesn’t feel cool
❄️ Airflow seems weaker than normal
❄️ Your system is constantly turning on and off
❄️ You hear unusual noises or notice water around the unit
