Something new this week. While one crew is in Decatur installing a commercial septic system, another completed a couple in ground trampoline installations up in Grand Rapids! Smart Septic is an authorized installer for Trampolines.com. Feel free to give us a call for pricing on these! We can dig the holes, haul off excess material, and fully assemble the trampoline if you so desire!

This mound system is complete! Rough graded for this customer to seed with clover for a natural wildlife area. ✅ Our electrician got the pump and tank alert wired up yesterday, and this customer is all set.

Had a little battle with some ground water today over in Stevensville! Filling ‘em up right when they get in the ground to prevent any floating tanks. All of the sand for the mound went in today and tomorrow we will have the drain bed built. Plugging away!

Another great job by Sebastian! 🙌 We recently serviced a lift station float at a local blueberry farm — and this one came with a challenge. The pump was buried so deep it couldn’t be reached from ground level.

We dug up the riser, pulled the pump, and re-plumbed everything up to grade so it’s actually serviceable now. The original float had been wired through a 2” conduit and spliced back together — we were able to thread the new float through clean, no cutting or splicing needed. ✅

Best part? We added a 2” union just 6” below the riser lid, so if this customer ever needs service again, it’s quick and easy access. That’s how we like to leave every job — better than we found it. 💧🫐

We’re making serious progress! 200 yards of sand in, tanks connected, and we actually went above and beyond the permit requirements by installing two tanks to give this customer extra capacity. Tomorrow brings another 100 yards of sand plus 50 yards of 6A stone to get the drain bed built out. We’re on track to have this one nearly wrapped up by the weekend! 💪

Making great progress out here — a little rain slowed us down yesterday, but we’re back at it today. Deaton & Sons Trucking is hauling in about 300 yards of sand, and we’ll be setting tanks this afternoon. Lots of dirt to move on this one, but it’s coming together nicely. 💪

Big day in Coloma — we’re kicking off a major installation today.

The scope: two 1,000-gallon tanks and a 1,200 sq. ft. drain bed. To get there, we’re cutting out 9 feet of clay and hauling in 7 feet of clean sand to build a proper base. When the existing soil can’t do the job, you manufacture the conditions that will.

A project this size calls for bigger iron, so we brought in the equipment to match. We’ll be posting updates as this one comes together — stay tuned.

Machines are getting cleaned up tomorrow and then we’re rolling to Coloma for the next one. The work doesn’t stop — it just moves down the road. 🚛
