We had the privilege of helping out Randy Rose, a 30-year Coast Guard veteran, husband, and father, as he builds up his shop where he works and keeps his boat. Randy is enhancing the space with a loft and a new office, and he’ll be using locally milled lumber to get it done.
Together, we turned out over 4,000 board feet of pine, poplar, sweet gum, and maple — plenty of variety for strength, character, and a touch of coastal Carolina charm.
It’s always rewarding to see good wood go to a good purpose, especially for someone who’s dedicated so much of his life to service. Best of luck on the shop project, Randy — can’t wait to see the finished space! 🪵
