We are almost done yall!

This project has been challenging in every way I thought it would be. I’m so proud of every part of my team that was involved in the production of this job.

It’s been a 8 month long journey that started with diagnosing the leaks, led to discovering a tremendous amount of structural water damage that required a structural engineers stamped prescriptive repair, flat roof replacement after we repaired the damaged LVLs, and then full hip and ridge replacement.

In the next few days it will come to a close and I cannot wait to let yall know we successfully pulled off nearly 200k RETAIL REPAIR.

I wanted to start this Tuesday morning off giving praise to Adam Schaub. Adam reached out to me in April of this year, he explained to me that he had his own residential company and he wanted to keep doing his own thing on the residential side. But he also wanted to learn commercial roofing.

After a few months a decision was made that Adam would roll his residential company into TLC, he didn’t NEED to do that, he wanted to invest all of his time and effort in one direction. I know it wasn’t an easy decision, but one he made with 100% conviction, all or nothing is what it takes to climb to the places others never will. It takes a lot for a man to swallow his ego and realize he still has stuff to learn and be humble enough to admit that, but when he does magic happens.

I am MORE THAN PROUD to say that currently Adam has 4 or 5 residential jobs with full approvals, on the schedule to be built, he built one yesterday and HE HAS 450 SQUARES OF COMMERCIAL ROOFING SIGNED. And another 1000 squares on the hook, plus a half million dollar RETAIL REPAIR on the hook in Houston.

This is what dedication, commitment, drive and the ability to learn from others will get you in life! I can’t wait to see where Adam is next year!!!!!

Off with the old, in with the new. We are getting so close to wrapping this up.

-final scope presented to client
-crews assigned
-permit obtained…..

This is just a small sampling of the lengthy process it takes to get to properly diagnose, close and build a job like this. It makes me even more proud that the homeowner spent two years turning away roofers bc he didn’t trust them, and i was able to close it. Special thanks to the salesman that reached out a year ago and said he needed help, this was above his skill set and none of the roofers he had brought to the homeowner could handle it, including the roofing company he was working for.
