Sometimes no plan is the best plan. The final design reminds me of the old roller skating rinks I used to frequent as a kid. Do you agree?

I stepped into this project without a plan and no paint colors picked out by the client. So I mixed some of my “oops” paints together for custom colors and hand painted these designs on a whim ❤️ the kids in the daycare love it and surely enjoyed watching this come to life. This goes to show you don’t need to spend a fortune for a fun design to liven up your space.

Real talk: I’ve been off-grid here for months. Not gone—just elbow-deep in paint. 😅

I’ve been doing house calls: fresh walls, bright rooms, helping folks love where they live. (And yeah, I’m still bad at pics—plus, no one wants their home on here, so I’ve kept it low-key.)

But at home? I’ve been going wild.
This century-old Craftsman hallway—raw plaster, dark-green trim that looked straight out of a bad reno show. Now? Copper archway, hand-painted patina accents, custom colors and copper streaks… like it was under our walls the whole time just waiting to be discovered.

Honestly, I’ve been practicing nonstop: sketching anatomy, window painting, piping joint compound like it’s cake icing—Venetian textures, ratios, colors… all so I can pull off the wild stuff I’ve got planned. (More house phases coming—stay tuned.)
Still learning, still messy, still grateful—for every client who trusts me, every wall I’ve touched, every late-night experiment.
