Things have been incredibly busy for DTE. Patrick just finished teaching for the year, my job is wrapping up, and we are in the process of moving into our first house. Regardless, we are still digging in the dirt making Meadville a prettier place☺️

In other news, Patrick is now the Landscaping teacher at Erie High! He has his masters in education and certified in a lot of areas; we never thought that he’d be putting to use his 10+ years of landscaping to good use in the classroom. Way to go, Pat! You’re going to crush it- hopefully a little better than you thought you were crushing the Eiffel Tower.

I thought Patrick was joking when he said that people usually started calling in March for landscaping. Boy was I wrong! Thank you to those early birds who are like us and are thinking of warmer days, and want us to start working already! If it’s not snowing on Saturday, you just might see Patrick outside doing what he does best!

Can you say curb appeal?! It is the perfect time to make a new flower bed. Patrick and I transplanted cut-down perennials into the new bed, laid fabric down, and mulched. We can’t wait to see how the plants look in the spring next to the new fence Patrick put in.
