Just a heads up about Lowe’s on Germantown. I’ve been dealing with them since August of last year trying to get storm doors installed.
They finally installed two doors on April 12 after MANY visits and calls from trying to find out when they were going to install them.
They installed the wrong doors - my MIL was home at the time of the install, so I didn’t know they were wrong until I got home from work - and now I can’t get ahold of anyone to get this rectified.
I’ve called Corporate three times with no response. I’ve called to try to speak with a manager several times, with no response. I’ve been hung up on several times even though I was being nice in explaining what was going on.
The Millworks department has nice employees but they have done nothing to follow through with promises to call back or have a manager call back.
Today I finally got someone at Corporate to at least pretend she was going to help. I feel like she will follow through. We’ll see.
My point is to warn you all not to use Lowe’s for storm door installation.
I’ve been informed numerous times that many others have had the same issue. The installer even called Corporate bc he said he is tired of this constantly happening.
This is not an isolated incident. This is an ongoing problem.
Beware!
I will never go to Lowe’s again.
I hope this helps save someone the heartache I’ve been through. “
