Don’t wait until your water heater quits.

Most water heaters last 8–12 years, but they usually give you warning signs before they fail:

💧 Rust-colored hot water
💧 Water around the base of the tank
💧 Rumbling or popping noises when it’s heating
💧 Running out of hot water faster than you used to

A leaking water heater can quickly turn into a flooded basement, and replacing it on your schedule is almost always less stressful than replacing it during an emergency.

Think a running toilet is “no big deal”? Think again.

That little trickle of water can waste hundreds of gallons a day, which means you’re paying for water that’s literally going down the drain.

Here’s a quick test:

1. Put a few drops of food coloring in the toilet tank.
2. Wait 10 to 15 minutes without flushing.
3. If color shows up in the bowl, you’ve got a leak.

Most of the time, it’s a worn flapper or fill valve, an inexpensive repair that can save money on your water bill.

Just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for the continued support of Tuma’s Plumbing LLC.

As many people know, I’m a one-man operation, and I truly appreciate the patience and understanding from customers, contractors, friends, and families while I do my best to keep up with a busy schedule. A large portion my time is committed to bigger projects that were planned months in advance with contractors, while one day each week is reserved specifically for residential service work and smaller jobs.

I know waiting isn’t always easy, and I genuinely appreciate everyone sticking with me. I take a lot of pride in doing quality work, being honest with people, and making sure jobs are done right the first time — even if that sometimes means schedules get tight.
