CCS is looking for experienced welders to join our team in Mesa. Our company fabricates and installs structural steel, piping, plate and duct work, and mechanical and electrical equipment. Our family-owned business has been in operation for over 25 years and most of our employees have been with us for 5+ years. This is a long-term, full-time position (48+ hours/week). Applicants should be proficient with multiple weld processes (mig, flux core, dual shield, and stick welding (GMAW, FCAW-S, FCAW-G, SMAW)) and the welding equipment/electrodes associated with each. We perform work at multiple plants and sites locally, and occasionally statewide. Other skill requirements include:
-Ability to follow shop drawings within tolerance
-Ability to fabricate with personal tools to keep plumb/level/square
-Ability to work safely in multiple environments and follow instructions
-Proficiency with shop equipment including band saw, plasma cutter, iron worker, drill press, etc.
-Understanding of the importance of craftsmanship, regardless of the location of the work
-Ability to work with and communicate with a team
-Ability to work safely with equipment including forklifts and cranes
-Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug test
We offer health, vision, dental, and life insurance plans after 60 days of employment with the company covering 50% of the employee's premium. We also offer 40 hours PTO each year in addition to the six major paid holidays. That becomes available on an accrual basis (usually also within 90 days of hire).
