Started as a simple tear out and re-pour, tuned into a ground water mess. Ended with a footer drain and 20 ton of rock and then a beautiful re-pour. Teamed up with Wells Landscaping & Excavating LLC for the drainage work.

The next step of this project was to extend the footers on half of the basement down about 32 inches to a new footer done as monolithic poor. We could only do this so many feet at a time under the guidance of a structural engineer. The idea was to lower a large section of the basement floor to give more room for storage and better drainage under the house.

A little bit of back breaking, I mean concrete busting and hand digging around the old plumbing system. This was done while the house was resting from the first couple of lifts. The new footers are in and columns are laid for the new post. We will be lowering part of the floor about 30"
