Here’s another excellent transformation completed by The Home Hero LLC. Older houses in our area may be beautiful but they can always use updating. This new bathroom used to be an extra room that could only be accessed by going through another bedroom, now it is a breath-taking 3- piece bathroom! This job consisted of a full plaster-lathe demo, fire-blocking, new electric & plumbing, moving walls & doorways, closing windows, paint matched aluminum siding, custom tile work, & custom cut shower glass doors. With our experience we were able to modify custom order trim to match the extravagant 100-year-old trim. Not only did this home get an additional bathroom, it also greatly improved the layout of the second floor by not having to walk through bedrooms anymore. A local Metuchenite reached out to The Heroes for a complete kitchen remodel. Upon viewing the project, we understood exactly what needed to be done and knew we were the guys to do it. We completed a full gut of the kitchen, installed new LED lighting, new cabinets, granite countertop, subway tile back splash, and flooring that really transformed not only the kitchen, but the whole house! We opened up a non-load bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room that allowed natural lighting to flow through the first floor. In addition to the kitchen remodel, we removed some wood paneling, wallpaper, and dated acoustic ceiling tiles from the rest of the house and installed fresh sheetrock and paint throughout.
