We design efficiently using a system of quality control to meet all needs of each project. At the planning stage, we start developing our quality control and assurance checklists, whi
ch will typically include ‘Site Visits and Inspections'; ‘Analysis of Grades and Elevations'; ‘Site Survey Analysis'; ‘Existing Vegetation and Tree Species Analysis'; ‘Water Runoff Management and Percolation Tests'; ‘Soil Profile and Soil Composition Tests'; and ‘Underground and Aerial Utilities’. Collected information is then used in the design phase to frame and elaborate functional site use, planting palette, and hardscape features. Sustainability is a primary consideration in the design phase. We focus on the use of native, endangered, and Florida-friendly plant species to enhance both the created and natural landscape. Effective water management is driven by low emission irrigation systems; and by manipulating grades and elevations to maximize water runoff to green areas. Contours and layers of diverse plant species are utilized to complement one another. Exterior spaces must be more than “pretty”; rather, they must enhance the natural environment.
