It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Charles A. Garbarino III, who passed away on June 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Charlie dedicated 32 years of service to the Town of Ashland as a Police Officer and Detective with the Ashland Police Department. Throughout his distinguished career, he served our community with professionalism, integrity, and compassion before retiring in 2010.

His commitment to public service left a lasting impact on the department and the residents he swore to protect. Charlie will be remembered not only for his dedication to law enforcement but also for the relationships he built with his fellow officers, friends, and community members over the course of his career.

We extend our deepest condolences to his wife, Karen, his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him.

Please keep the Garbarino family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
