Tonight we kicked off a local project trenching over 400 feet to install power and water conduit for a new pole building.

I also had a little visitor riding along tonight. At her age, there was nothing I loved more than being on a machine, and not much has changed. It’s never too early to start training the next generation of Fedder’s Small Excavation to take pride in doing quality work.

Wrapped up the week with another great project! We installed a 12x50 parking area, removed a large stump to make room, and prepped a sidewalk for a stamped concrete pour that ties into the new parking area.

We’re looking forward to seeing the finished product once the concrete is poured and we return for the final topsoil, grading, and seeding.

Fedder’s Small Excavation recently completed this pad for a homeowner who plans to install pavers and landscape around the perimeter. We brought in a triaxle load of 2A stone, placed it in lifts, compacted it properly, and brought the pad up to grade. We’ll be back to complete the final grading around the toe of the slope.

Today, Fedder’s Small Excavation repaired a yard that had settled after a sewer line installation over the winter. We brought in fresh screened topsoil, graded the yard, filled old equipment ruts, seeded it, and lowered the sewer cleanout to grade.
