🚨Plant identification🚨

Scientific name :Aquilegia vulgaris
Common name: “Red Columbine”

We stumbled across this beauty today while on the job.

Excellent for attracting humming birds.

Aquilegia is a hardy perennial plant which is relatively short lived at around three to four years - however it self seeds, so you'll find new plants popping up every year, making your Aquilegia last forever.

Typically 1-3 feet tall and thriving in partial shade it is perfect for the edges of a woodland style garden or against a home.

🚨🚨Our team is In the middle of a property clean up in bay view.

The customer we are serving today is a local realtor, this means the work we leave behind is going to welcome a new family into the neighborhood. We are grateful to serve and excited to share all of our work later today.

Returning back to one of our favorite customer’s home to complete the right side of his porch with a simple mulch bed

We love to bring our beds together with a quality w**d barrier fabric laid under the mulch and a 3/8” thick aluminum edging to hold in the rock, dirt or mulch from spilling into the lawn overtime.

We removed the old fabric and lava rocks, then we broke up the stagnant dirt and incorporated about 12 cubic feet of compost into the new garden bed.

Now it’s all ready for a summer vegetable garden.
