Hey there ! 👋
It’s been a while since I introduced ourselves.

I’m Brandi! My husband, Zack, and I own Mountain State Land Clearing. 🎉

Mountain State was dreamt up from the desire to create extra income while Zack worked at a chemical plant and I had quit chasing a career to stay home and raise our babies. The desire to provide the best lives for our children was the main motivation. And give ourselves freedom to be with our children.
[Another goal was ultimately to give back to the community and youth in the area. (I am proud of what we have done silently and will remain silent about.)]

We decided it was best for our children for Mom to be home with them while young.
Zack wanted to be his own boss.
It all made sense.

We saw an area of service that was not prevalent in the region, such as forestry mulching, land reclamation, & farm management. It certainly helped it was an area regarding nature in which we both found passion.

Fast forward ⏩ from 2019 to 2026

Our business has grown exponentially. We have had to endure ALL the learning curves of creating, owning and running a business - not just alone but TOGETHER as partners, and husband + wife. 🙌🏽

👷🏼‍♂️You will often see Zack meeting customers, answering calls, texts and messages on the phone 24/7, reviewing job sites & plans, driving to different states for various parts, meeting potential customers for estimates, creating estimates, helping out with random paperwork we get thrown at us while all 4 kids are chasing each other or needing different things at the same time and he is actually home to help me (lol), working in the hole with the guys, running equipment, and ensuring everything is ready to roll for the next day.

👩🏽‍💻You will often see me caring for our 4 young children, managing appointments, managing our personal life & homestead-ish life we are building, working on emails, completing random paper work thrown at us, creating presentations, helping create schedules, social media, complete forms for various contracts, complete forms for rentals, random pickups for parts & supplies, and meeting customers at times for payments.

Both of us working together in different worlds at times.
This life wasn’t on the radar when we first met but as people, we evolve and our dreams evolve. We are truly family-owned & ran.

We so truly appreciate our family and friends who support us and cheer us on. And to the customers who have become some of our biggest cheerleaders - we thank you.
You don’t know how many times we have wanted to throw in the towel, and words of encouragement would find their way to us. 🩷
