This is one of the projects that we don’t like getting calls about. A floor that has gone bad in under a year. The main concern was how difficult the floor was to maintain. As you can see, it looks very dirty and you would be right. An inconsistent topcoat application left dry spots which catch and hold the dirt and grime. It also made the floor very uncomfortable to walk on without shoes which they do regularly. A properly applied topcoat would have avoided these issues to some degree. But a flake system is also not ideal for this application without taking special care when installing to ensure a smooth, finish along with a heavy or second topcoat. Stay tuned for the new finish!
