Lil leak in this hydraulic cylinder. Verified the source with dye penetrant, gouged the area until I revealed the extent of the crack. Retested after first welding pass to make sure I got it. 👍

Can’t be this easy. What am I missing? Where’s that other shoe?! I’m waiting for it to drop. And where’s that relay? Who took it and why? You never get the full story. Should I be concerned? Was it intentionally removed because of a bigger problem with the circuit? Probably and I’ll only find out once the operator has it back in the field. What is life? What will I be in the next one? Hopefully an owl.

Electric tarp installed. Had to fabricate pivot points and stops for the arms, as well as a custom mount for the switch. These installs can be VERY pokey, but this one turned out nice and tidy 👌🏻

These Lund grapples (discontinued) are virtually bomb proof and if you ever have the opportunity to buy one for your skidsteer or Sw***er, DO IT!
This one finally had enough, but I managed to salvage what was there. Gouged for full pe*******on welds and reclaimed four pin bores. The big Metabo die grinder earned its keep on this one 😮‍💨.
