Discharge chute repair and modification. Sliced it open and pitched it up to gain 9” of elevation. This will throw chips higher into the box and fill it more effectively. Also cut out and replaced a worn section of the top radius. Way more gooder 👍

Lil leak in this hydraulic cylinder. Verified the source with dye penetrant, gouged the area until I revealed the extent of the crack. Retested after first welding pass to make sure I got it. 👍

Can’t be this easy. What am I missing? Where’s that other shoe?! I’m waiting for it to drop. And where’s that relay? Who took it and why? You never get the full story. Should I be concerned? Was it intentionally removed because of a bigger problem with the circuit? Probably and I’ll only find out once the operator has it back in the field. What is life? What will I be in the next one? Hopefully an owl.

I call this the “Rube Goldberg Method” of hydraulic cylinder disassembly. Whatever it takes 🤘

Electric tarp installed. Had to fabricate pivot points and stops for the arms, as well as a custom mount for the switch. These installs can be VERY pokey, but this one turned out nice and tidy 👌🏻

Putting a Niftylift in “neutral” so you can tow it without damage. There are variations between models, so always refer to the operator’s manual for your machine… available for free on Nifty’s website.
