🚨Safety Tip🚨
When was the last time you tested your smoke alarms?
It only takes a minute to help protect your home and the people inside.
Here's a quick checklist:
✅ Press the TEST button on each smoke alarm once a month.
✅ Replace batteries at least once a year, or sooner if you hear a low-battery chirp (unless your alarm has a sealed 10-year battery).
✅ Keep smoke alarms free of dust by gently vacuuming or wiping around the vents.
✅ Make sure there's a smoke alarm in every bedroom, outside sleeping areas, and on every level of your home.
✅ Replace smoke alarms when they reach their expiration date—most are designed to be replaced after 10 years.
A working smoke alarm can provide the early warning needed to safely escape during a fire.
