Happy to share that my daughter Brooke and 21 of her classmates will be taking a trek to Nepal, one of the economically poorest countries, to construct a primary school for the children who have no access to education. The buildOn program is an organization that allows high school students to safely travel to rural countries such as Malawi, Senegal, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mali, Burkina Faso, Haiti, and Nepal. There are over 275,000 students attending schools built in these countries. Right now my daughter and her classmates are in the fundraising stage and they need donations for construction materials and funding for adult illiteracy programs in Nepal. Any contribution that you could make would make a world of difference for the people in Nepal and the kids without education.
