We’re loving how this garden turned out! 🌼 New Crushed granite top dressing, DG driveway, plants, irrigation, Quartzite flagstone walkways, a brick patio, and a French drain system with an NDS drain for proper drainage and garage protection.

Old tree branches turned into a charming garden border, and I love how it gives the flower bed a rustic, handmade look while keeping the mulch neatly in place.

Mulch acts as a protective barrier, reducing evaporation, so your soil stays moist longer, and your plants need less frequent watering. It also keeps weeds at bay, prevents soil erosion, and keeps soil temperatures steady so plants can thrive.

Choose mulch based on your plant varieties and soil needs: Organic options like hardwood chips, straw, leaves, pine needles, or grass clippings add nutrients as they break down.

Apply mulch in a layer 3–4 inches deep for most plants, but don’t overdo it because too much can restrict water flow.

I love this!

Old bricks turned into a simple little splash path under the downspout, and it feels so practical for the garden. I love how it helps guide rainwater away while keeping the mulch cleaner and giving that corner a rustic handmade look 🌿🧱

Tucked into a cozy little garden with all the charm of Carmel-by-the-Sea 🌊

We reset and installed this beautiful Carmel Stone walkway to bring new life, character, and flow to the space. Simple, timeless, and full of that classic Carmel-by-the-Sea feel we all love 🤎

There’s something special about a garden that feels peaceful the moment you step into it.
