Solid. Level. Built to Last.
Another week in the books with a couple of good builds:

• 14x16 Timber-Border Retaining Pad: Don't do timber borders every day, but this site had an elevation change that called for something different. Teamed up with Evergreen Landscape Maintenance to knock this one out, framing up the timber retaining perimeter to lock the grade in and keep everything solid.

• 12x22 Gravel Pad: Skimmed out the topsoil, built up the base material in compacted lifts, laser-leveled, ready for shed delivery.

To wrap up the week, the delivery driver sent over a picture of a new building on one of our freshly prepped pads. Always good to see the final product in place and sitting right.

Another four shed pads prepped, laser-leveled, and ready for building delivery this week:

• 18’ x 30’ Base
• 14’ x 26’ Base
• 14’ x 22’ Base
• 12’ x 18’ Base

Wrapped up another site prep job near Glenwood this week. 28x30 pad for a pole building.

• Stripped the topsoil down to a solid base.
• Hauled in fill and compacted it in lifts for a solid, level base.
• Did the rough grade (we’ll come back for the final finish grade once the structure is built).
• Put in driveway tie-in for access to the new building.
Straightforward job, turned out great, and it's ready for the building to go up.

4 more shed pads prepped, compacted, and ready for delivery!

This week’s batch had a bit of everything:
• 12x22 Class 5 base
• 14x30 Class 5 base
• 10x10 Compact Base – Tight access on this one! Shoutout to STUMP Doctors for coming out on short notice to grind a stump out of the way so we could get our equipment in and build the pad
• 12x18 Replacement Base – Tore down an old, undersized shed that was originally sitting right on the bare dirt. And built a solid level base for the new shed.

Here’s the deal: setting a brand-new shed directly on raw dirt or an uncompacted base is a recipe for uneven settling and stuck doors. Along with an unfinished look if blocking is needed because of uneven ground. Protect your new investment; do it right the first time and make sure your shed sits level for years to come.

It has been brutal out in the heat this week, but we wrapped up three more shed pads. They are fully compacted, perfectly level, and ready for the shed delivery.

Wrapped up a busy week of site preparation just in time for the 4th of July weekend. 🇺🇸

Before the holiday kicks off, we finished up three shed foundations. A shed is only as good as the base underneath it, and these are built to stay level and solid for the long term.

Here is the breakdown on this week's layouts:

16x18 Pad: Straightforward and clean. Leveled, compacted, and ready for the building delivery.

12x24 Pad (For a 10x16 Shed): By extending the gravel pad past the shed doors, there is an extra 8 feet of solid base right out front. This leaves a clean, stable area for a grill or a future patio setup right next to the building.

30x38 Pad (For a 14x36 Shed): We extended this footprint to give the owner extra parking space and leave a solid foundation ready for a future lean-to addition down the road.

Taking the time to size a pad for how you will actually use the space saves you from having to tear up the yard a second time later on.

Five more shed pads down this week in Moorhead, Frazee, Maple Lake, and Alexandria.

The highlight of the week was a message from Jason after he delivered a building onto one of our pads. It set down dead level with no blocking needed.

When the foundation is right, the delivery goes smooth. Just the way it should be.
