Had the opportunity to potentially save someone’s life over the weekend.

Remember, loose connections generate heat, heat generates fire.

This problem was brewing for years. The original lug couldn’t have been tightened to spec which created a loose connection of the service side neutral. The heat eventually melted the screw that bonded the neutral to bus bar and the entire house lost neutral.
