About 5 years ago, I got a message in my inbox from someone in South America, showing me one of my guitars and my company were featured in a book!
He was in a book store, and opened up a copy of "1001 Guitars To Dream Of Playing Before You Die".

I knew nothing of this, so obviously I was excited and curious.
So I ordered a copy.
A few days later when the book arrived, not only was I overjoyed with a feeling of accomplishment and recognition I've never felt before, but I was completely BLOWN AWAY to the level of tears when I opened the book to my feature, and saw who I shared the page spread with!
The king himself!
Talk about !!
I'm still speechless when I open it and see myself, my work, my creation... right beside that of my muse, my hero, my entire inspiration for building guitars!
And now, even more than ever.

As the music world already knows, today we lost the greatest Guitarist that the world has ever known.
Eddie Van Halen is credited with inspiring as many musicians as any other artist ever.
But he was more than just a Guitarist. EVH was also a Builder. He built Frankenstein in 1974 not knowing it would become the most iconic and identifiable music instrument ever created.
In fact, its that very guitar that inspired ME to put saw to wood, make sawdust and create guitars.
Without Eddie Van Halen, there would NEVER have been an Evaline Guitar. Plain and Simple.
Everything I've ever built, created or accomplished in this music world... the places I've been, the people I've met, the friends I've made along the way, and the EPIC great life experiences I've enjoyed as a result for being a Luthier... I owe it ALL to you, Mr. Van Halen. You always were and always will be my Muse.... if I ever find the emotional strength to build again.
Thank you EVH for all you've done for Music, for your fans, and for me. Please Rock in Peace! 🤘🏻💔

Plays like butter.
Sounds amazing though ANY rig.
