With this week’s extreme heat, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.

The safety of our crew is our number one priority. While we’re committed to providing the same quality service you expect, we’ve made adjustments to help keep our team safe. We’ve shortened our mowing days, our crews take frequent breaks, keep coolers stocked with ice and cold drinks, and spend time cooling off in the air conditioning between properties.

Unfortunately, this is part of working in the landscaping industry. From the end of June through July and August, these are the temperatures we face every year. Our team shows up every day ready to work hard, and we’re proud of the dedication they have to serving our customers despite the challenging conditions.

We also ask for your understanding if your lawn is skipped this week. If your grass doesn’t truly need to be cut, we may leave it until the next scheduled visit rather than mowing unnecessarily. This helps us reduce unnecessary exposure for our crews during extreme heat while still ensuring your property continues to receive the quality care you expect.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in on our employees, offered a cold bottle of water, or simply shown kindness. Those small gestures go a long way and are greatly appreciated.

🌿 PLANTING SEASON REMINDER FROM K**B CREEK LANDSCAPING 🌿

As we move into the warmer months, it’s important to understand how much weather impacts the success of new plantings.

From approximately the second week of June through the third week of September (weather depending on temperatures), planting becomes significantly more challenging here in New Jersey.

Why?
* Extreme heat puts stress on new plants before they can properly establish roots
* Soil dries out faster, increasing watering demands
* Higher risk of transplant shock and plant decline
* Reduced root development during prolonged hot spells

While planting can still be done during this period, it often requires much more maintenance and carries higher risk compared to spring and fall. We highly recommend holding off on planting to ensure your most cost effective and thrive effective of the plantings.

For the healthiest, longest-lasting results, we always recommend planning your plantings during cooler, more stable weather conditions when possible.

Another landscape transformation completed in Westampton, NJ! 🌿

This property had landscape beds that were heavily overrun with w**ds and needed some serious attention. Our crew spent the day extensively removing the existing w**d growth, thoroughly cleaning out the beds, and preparing them for long-term success.

To help prevent future w**d issues, we applied w**d prevention treatment, installed landscape fabric, applied additional w**d control, and finished everything off with a fresh layer of mulch for a clean, polished look.

The difference is night and day! 💪
