This has got to be the fastest design phase I've done in a while. Eleven days from first meeting to city permit submittal (including reports and calcs). Detached 1200 sf ADU in Poway, Ca. with 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, and small office. Communication and coordination is the key!

One of the most economical solution to add a dwelling unit is by converting an exisitng garage into an ADU or JADU. This project located in Vista, Ca. features a detached garage ADU conversion with one bedroom, full bath, washer/dryer, and living/kitchen.
