I know that this is a business page that folks follow but this past week I had something happen that I wanted to share. I was working snow plowing a driveway last week and looked down and saw something bright blue under the layers of snow and ice. I hopped off the tractor and this paper was what I found. The fact that it didn’t get destroyed under layers of moisture is unbelievable to me. I read what it said and stopped in my tracks. The next day I found myself in a scary situation for my family and we have been tested a lot this last week.
I have been reminded since seeing this quote of these verses in James. “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and it shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become well-developed and mature, not deficient in any way. If you don’t know what you are doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get His help and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought.”
I just felt like this is something I should share to encourage someone that might be going through a hard time right now. It was in the fire that Shadrack, Meshack, and Abendego saw the power of God. It was in the lion’s den when David saw God’s protection. Through our trials and scary times, we see more of God and reveal His strength, who gives His strength to us to persevere.
