Everybody knows somebody who says:
"My grandpa never pumped his septic tank for 20 years and it was fine."
Cool.@
But here's the part nobody wants to talk about...
For decades, septic tanks were treated like they didn't exist.
Out of sight.
Out of mind.
Until sewage backs up in the house, the yard turns into a swamp, or the drainfield completely fails.
Now we're running into hundreds if not thousands of septic systems that are failing and need to be replaced because maintenance was ignored for years.
And people get mad at the pump truck like we caused it.
The truth is, pumping your septic tank isn't a scam.
It's maintenance.
Same way you change oil in a truck.
Same way you clean filters before they clog everything up.
Just because someone got lucky for 20 years doesn't mean that's the standard.
A septic system can be one of the most expensive parts of your property to replace and most people don't think about it until it's already too late.
You don't pump your tank because it already failed.
You pump it so it doesn't. đź’©
