I know I haven’t posted on here in quite some time. This past year has been nothing but challenges for us. Anything from product shortages to labor shortages to not being able to get certain things. The biggest challenge of all was my dad who almost of you knew and met and worked with me suffering some major health problems up till last week when he passed away. My dad was a first rate drywall finisher and painter and quite frankly I’ve never met anybody who could come anywhere close to achieving the same skill levels as he did. In the last week I lost not only my dad but also my coworker and best friend. I want to thank everybody who so graciously supported us over the years and will always be thankful for the many friendships we’ve made with our clients in this business. Needless to say at this point this business will be seeing some major changes which I will take the next few weeks thinking about and let all of you know as soon as I reach some decisions. I know nobody wants to hear this but with the water we already received this week today would be a good day to keep an eye on your sump pumps given the heavy thunderstorms with soaking rain being forecasted for today. Please call us if we can assist in any way.

Be careful!! All the fire and water damage ambulance chasers are out and in full bloom! If they are at your door begging for work then they aren’t on a job. If they aren’t on a job there’s a reason why they have no work and in turn are trying to pressure you! Lots of odd name fly by night outfits running around right now.

Hey everybody. I’m answering and responding to calls as quickly as I can. If your basement is filling with water the damage is already done. Please stay out of flood water. You could be at risk of being electrocuted.

We are now operating under emergency mode. Only calls that are weather/emergency related will be responded to immediately. We will be operating like this for the next 36 hours. From now until the end of Tuesday August 4th our region is expected to see 5-7 inches of water with high winds and locally heavier amounts possible. In the event you find you basement flooded please do not enter the water. There’s a good chance energized electrical equipment and wires may be in the water. Once your basement is flooded odds are there is nothing that will ultimately be rendered salvageable anyway. Please call us if your unsure of something or need pointers. Have a good night and stay safe.
