⚠️ Another generator install done incorrectly.

This home was installed with a non-service-rated transfer switch when the application required a 200A service-entry-rated transfer switch.

Now the homeowner has to pay again to have the correct equipment installed and the service reworked properly.

A standby generator system is not just “hooking up a generator.”
Proper installation requires:
✔ Correct transfer switch selection
✔ NEC-compliant service entrance wiring
✔ Proper grounding & bonding
✔ Correct disconnecting means
✔ Utility/service coordination

As a small business, Craig’s Electrical & Generator Service supports Amendment 4.

Most people don’t realize Louisiana businesses are taxed on inventory sitting on shelves before it’s ever sold. That means materials, supplies, parts, and equipment are taxed while businesses are already dealing with higher costs, shipping, and inflation.

Imagine if homeowners had to pay taxes every year on everything sitting unused in their garage, closets, or pantry. That’s essentially what Louisiana businesses face with inventory taxes.

Inventory is necessary to grow, keep products available, and serve customers quickly. Reducing this tax helps small businesses reinvest in employees, expansion, and the communities we serve every day.

Please vote YES on Amendment 4.
