That beautiful professional-grade range? It's one of the decisions that needs to happen earlier than you might think.

Appliance specifications can influence cabinetry dimensions, ventilation requirements, electrical planning and plumbing.

Waiting until construction is underway to finalize these details can create unnecessary complications.

It's one of the many reasons I encourage homeowners to bring a project manager into the conversation early. Good planning makes a difference long before the finishing touches go in.

One of the biggest misconceptions about renovating a small bathroom? That it should be a simple project. Limited square footage doesn't necessarily mean fewer decisions.

Custom stonework, wall-mounted fixtures, plumbing placement and specialty finishes can require careful planning and coordination between multiple trades.

The smaller the space, the less room there is for error. It's a good reminder that successful renovations depend just as much on what happens before installation as the finished result.

Custom features are often where the smallest details matter most. 🍷 Something like this built-in w**e storage requires coordination between cabinetry, lighting, hardware, glass installation and the surrounding finishes.

Each element needs to be planned with the others in mind. As a project manager, I help oversee those details and coordinate the professionals responsible for bringing them together. It's that level of organization that helps turn a complex project into a cohesive finished space.

Your home renovation shouldn't become your second full-time job.

Between meetings, contractor questions, material selections, scheduling changes and deliveries, even a relatively straightforward project can demand a surprising amount of time.

And for busy homeowners, that time is valuable.

My job as a project manager is to help keep the process organized, coordinate the people involved and make sure important details don't get overlooked.

So you can be involved in the decisions that matter without having to manage every moving piece.

A kitchen renovation involves a lot more decisions than choosing cabinets and countertops.

Appliance specifications, plumbing locations, electrical plans, cabinetry measurements, material lead times and installation schedules all need to work together.

And when one detail changes, it can affect several others.

Having an experienced project manager overseeing those moving pieces helps keep the renovation organized, communication clear and the project moving forward.

The goal? A beautiful finished kitchen without having to manage every detail yourself.

What would you add to your home if you could create a space just for fun?

A billiards room, home theater, w**e cellar or something entirely different?

Some of the most rewarding home projects are the ones that make room for how you actually want to spend your time.

Whether it's a dedicated entertainment space or a larger renovation, having someone manage the schedules, contractors and details allows you to stay focused on the vision while the project moves forward.

You see a finished bathroom. I see the dozens of decisions and moving pieces that had to happen in the right order to get here.

That’s the part of a renovation you don’t see in the final photos, and the part I manage for my clients.

A finished space like this looks effortless. The process behind it rarely is.

There are schedules to manage, trades to coordinate, details to track and countless moving pieces along the way.

That’s where project management comes in: keeping everything moving so the vision on paper becomes the home you were expecting.

This is your permission slip to have a little fun with the room that’s supposed to be fun.

Not every space in your home needs to whisper.

A bar is one of those places where I’m happy to explore the dramatic stone, saturated cabinetry, beautiful lighting or detail you might hesitate to use across an entire kitchen.

The trick is knowing where to make the statement and where to let the eye rest.

And when you get that balance right? A relatively small part of the home can become the room everyone remembers.

One of the biggest differences between a custom-feeling home and one that feels builder-basic often has nothing to do with square footage. It’s the transitions. ✨️

The wall you see as you climb the stairs. The curve of a handrail. Millwork continuing into a hallway. The hardware you catch a glimpse of through a doorway.

These aren’t necessarily the features people put at the top of their renovation wish list, yet they’re often what make the finished home feel cohesive.

I’m always thinking about what you’ll see from the next room, not only the room we’re standing in.
