The most versatile of our designs, the Treetop Cabin can fit into any small clearing to create a nest hidden within the woods. It’s designed to incorporate decks and privacy structures, crafting a secluded haven for guests.

The Treetop Cabin transforms unnoticed forest clearings into serene sanctuaries of rest and rejuvenation. Its standout feature, a vertical skylight, means there’s no need for sprawling vistas; guests can gaze up at the sky and stars while lying on a king-sized bed, with the added comfort of natural and cross ventilation. Efficiently designed, the cabin includes storage spaces, a stainless-steel kitchenette, and a full bathroom. We designed Koby Cottage back in 2010. The 1,100 square-foot house is composed of two diagonal intersecting axes that cross at the dining room table. These two wings of the house provide separate spaces for children and parents while the intersection at the dining table creates a place for meeting, discussion, and family bonding. This house was designed for families visiting their children attending a boarding school for troubled teens. Surrounded by nature, it provides a peaceful, private domestic setting for reuniting families.

The structure is raised above the ground and the space between the modules is sheathed with glass to show the landscape as continuous and nature as enveloping. The design, two volumes connected by a glass enclosure, employs tectonic expression of the modules. Yet the rectilinear module forms are opened up to the outdoors through variations in glass and wall surfaces. A light wood interior is housed within a Corten exterior that blends into the colors of the surrounding natural environment and the house is finished with a high level of craftsmanship and high-performance components. Koby is the first building constructed using the KFS (Kullman Frame System), an extremely strong and efficient modular space frame system consisting of hollow tubular steel and allowing large cantilevers and window openings.Koby is a prototype structure of a system designed for the construction of multi-story modular buildings — its tubular steel space frame has the unique capacity to achieve heights of twelve stories using a patented connection system that minimizes field finishing and speeds the overall construction process.

In our ever-evolving world, efficiency and speed are crucial. Modular design represents the future, allowing for rapid creation, repetition, and placement, embodying the essence of tomorrow’s built environment.

When we created the Pod Hotel in Williamsburg in 2016, central to our design concept were the themes of intelligence and efficiency. The design provides affordable, attractive, and spacious-feeling rooms. Each small area includes all essentials, with transparent glass dividers above chest height in the bathroom to visually expand the space. Strategically placed windows draw the eye outside, while integrated storage, workspaces, and seating areas ensure every surface is functional.

The Pod Hotel is a modular system, combining two rooms and a corridor into prefabricated ten-foot by thirty-foot components. Designed on a BIM platform, it serves as a shop drawing and fabrication resource, significantly reducing construction time and trade coordination errors.

We are excited to announce the grand opening of the Staten Island Animal Care Center!🎊 🐾

On Wednesday Oct. 26, 2022, Animal Care Centers of NYC held a ribbon cutting ceremony on the South Shore.

The center is named in honor of Tommy Monahan, a 9-year-old Staten Island boy who lost his life trying to save his pets during a fire.

Mayor Eric Adams made an appearance, bestowing the family with a proclamation that declared the date as Tommy Monahan Day in New York City.

“The creation of the new Staten Island Animal Care Center, initially inspired by Tommy’s incredible heroism, now has the capacity to house more animals than ever,”. ❤️
